FB#.MECHTYPE

Description

Sets whether the feedback is a rotary (0) or linear (1) encoder. If rotary, FB#.ENCLINES is the encoder resolution, and if linear, FB#.LINEPITCH.

Depending on the configuration and feedback type, this parameter is read only or read write. If used as a commutation feedback source for an axis (AXIS#.IL.FBSOURCE) this value matches AXIS#.MOTOR.TYPE for the corresponding axis. Otherwise, the value matches the feedback memory setting if available. Only if not assigned as an axis commutation source or unavailable through feedback memory will this value be settable by the user.
